Inferring the Control Signal Driving Zebrafish Locomotion

This paper proposes a model of zebrafish locomotion using a controlled dynamical system. It highlights that a sparse control signal driving a latent Recurrent Neural Network can effectively generate the fish’s complete natural locomotor repertoire while preserving important navigational features.
